Helpful Studies

I skipped yesterday but made up for it today with 2 PADs. These are both studies for a painting I am planning. I'm working from a couple of photos and like the layout of the 3 horses under the tree (although I've flipped the direction of one horse from the original). The original photo is taken in the spring with the main tree green. Although this helps provide more contrast between the trees and the horses, I don't think it as interesting picture as using the fall colors. These are both 5 1/2" x 7 1/2" pastels. Comments?
